Apple Farm Adventures Await: Join Our Walking Tours, Orchard Picnics, and Cozy Barn Stays!

A Season of New Adventures Awaits!

Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Central Valley of California, where the air is crisp and the Sierra Nevadas paint a breathtaking backdrop, our family-run apple farm is buzzing with excitement as we gear up for another vibrant apple season. Here, at 10 degrees cooler than the valley below, the magic of high-elevation farming comes alive, and we’re thrilled to invite you to join us for an unforgettable experience.

Our farm isn’t just a place to grow apples - it’s a sanctuary of connection, beauty, and innovation, where we’re reimagining the future of agri-tourism in the mountains. With apple season on the horizon, we’re packing our calendar with new ways to share our passion for farming, community, and the simple joys of life under the trees.

New Walking Tours: Step Into Our World

Starting this season, we’re opening our orchard gates wider with guided walking tours every Friday at 9 AM and 10 AM, welcoming travelers, overnight guests, and the public alike. Whether you’re a curious visitor, an aspiring farmer, or simply someone who loves the idea of apples growing against the rugged beauty of the mountains, these tours are for you. Join Robin, our farm’s heart and soul, as she shares the secrets of high-elevation apple farming. From nurturing pollinators like bees, butterflies, and ladybugs to mastering the art of grafting and caring for our trees, Robin’s stories will spark your curiosity and deepen your appreciation for the land.

The tour winds through rows of our nine apple varieties - Mutsu, McIntosh, Golden Delicious, Jonathan, Cortland, Empire, Red Delicious, Fuji, and Arkansas Black - each with its own unique flavor profile, from tart and crisp to honey-sweet. As you stroll, Robin will share how these apples thrive in our mountain climate and why each bite tells a story of the land. The journey continues to the top of our hill, where a 180-degree view of the Sierra Nevadas (including the stunning Minarets) unfolds before you. Here, Robin will share our family’s vision: transforming this farm into a haven for generational guests with stunning outdoor weddings, corporate events, anniversaries, and private gatherings, where the beauty of the mountains and the charm of our orchard create memories that last a lifetime.

You’ll also learn about our sustainable practices, from water and irrigation systems to fostering biodiversity with crab apples and pollinators. We’ll give you a sneak peek into our plans for expanding agri-tourism amenities, including more short-term stays, a sauna, and a hot tub in our beautifully restored barn. These tours are a chance to connect with the land, ask questions, and see firsthand how a small family farm can shape the future of the Central Valley’s foothills.

Orchard Picnics Are Back—Reserve Your Spot!

We’re thrilled to announce the return of our beloved Orchard Picnics, starting July 1st for weekend reservations (Friday–Sunday, 11:30 AM–2 PM, with last seating at 2 PM). Picture this: a leisurely lunch beneath the dappled shade of our Great Oak, on the grassy lawn in front of the main house, or tucked among the maple and Arkansas Black trees just beyond the main road. At 10 degrees cooler than the valley, our farm is the perfect escape for a mountain picnic, where the breeze carries the scent of apples and the views stretch to the horizon. It’s the ideal setting for birthdays, anniversaries, or simply a day of savoring life’s simple pleasures.

Each picnic is a celebration of local flavors, featuring sandwiches from a nearby artisan baker, expertly paired cheese and apple (or seasonal fruit, with our own apples shining from September to November), fresh sides like potato, pasta, or vegetable salads, drinks, and a delightful dessert. These picnics were a hit last year, so don’t wait to reserve your spot for a moment of pure joy under the trees.

Picnic Details:
