Hello, Friends,
As the leaves begin their golden dance and the air turns alpine crisp, we're excited to welcome you to our Harvest Celebration on Saturday, October 19th, 2025, from 9 AM to 3 PM! Did you know that nestled in the picturesque Sierra Nevada foothills and mountains (~ 4,500 feet) in Meadow Lakes, California, you will find an apple orchard, (with ALL the views), featuring some of the most sought after apple varieties in the world?
This is a day dedicated to the simple pleasures of life

We're all about a hand-selected harvest, and planting roots. Plant your roots, here:
U-Pick Apples: Stroll through our rows of apple trees, and hand-pick from our seasonal varieties - whatever's ripening, from crisp and tart (McIntosh, Empire, Mutsu) to sweetly superb (Golden Delicious). It's a way to connect with the land, basket in hand, under the wide mountain California sky.
Pumpkin Patch: Meander through locally-sourced Pumpkin Patch, to find just the right pumpkin for your porch or pie. It's a low-key delight for all ages, with plenty of space to linger and enjoy the views. We encourage life-long friend-making.
Kids' Games: Fun, whimsical activities tailored for the little ones - think gentle games like apple toss or a hay bale maze, designed to spark smiles without any rush.
Fresh Baked Treats and Farm Delights: Indulge in locally baked pastries, including flaky croissants, soft cookies, and our house-made specialties like apple butter, bourbon-pear preserves (made fresh from our own Bartlett pears), applesauce, and award-winning juice.
October is truly a magical month here at the farm:
On October 4th, join us for an enchanting book signing with fantasy author Leslie A. Lee. Dive into worlds of wonder as she shares her stories - it's a cozy afternoon for book lovers of all ages.
Also on October 4th, between the readings and signings, we're hosting Debrah Klose's "Castle Turret with Climbing Vines" colored pencil Art Class. There are only a few spots left, so sign up soon! At just $15 per person (all supplies included - just show up!), it's a peaceful creative session to unleash your inner artist in our inspiring farm setting.
This Harvest Celebration is our way of sharing the orchard's quiet joy - no tickets needed, just come as you are. Bring a blanket for lounging, pack a light lunch, or grab treats from our farm store. We'll have more details unfolding as the date nears, so follow us on social media (@meadowlakesorchard) or check our website for updates (www.meadowlakesorchard.com).
We can't wait to see you on October 19th for a day that feels like a warm hug from autumn itself. Until then, take it easy and enjoy the season.
Warm regards,
Us
