Apple Season Schedule (Approximate Dates)

All dates are weather-dependent, so stay tuned for email reminders as we get closer. Here’s when you can expect to sink your teeth into these juicy treats:

• McIntosh: Ready September 1st – Kick off the season with these classic, tart-sweet apples, perfect for snacking or baking.

• Golden Delicious: September 8th – A golden gem with a honeyed flavor, ideal for pies and cider.

• Jonathon, Mutsu, and Empire: All around the week of September 21st – A trio of flavors, from Jonathon’s tangy zest to Mutsu’s sweet crunch and Empire’s balanced taste.

• Ben Davis and Red Delicious: Around October 1st – Enjoy more Ben Davis plus the iconic Red Delicious, a staple for every apple lover.

• Fuji: October 7th – Late-season sweetness with a satisfying crunch, perfect for fresh eating.

• Arkansas Black: First week of November – A rare, dark beauty with a bold flavor to close out the season.

Note: We’re expecting very few, if any, Cortland apples this year due to nature’s whims, but we’re excited to have plenty of Ben Davis to make up for it! Since certain varieties are only available at specific times, be sure to check our schedule if you have a favorite in mind. Official schedule will be ready as we get closer to harvest (no later than September 1st!).
