Thank You for Making Our First U-Pick Experience Unforgettable!

Wow, what an incredible season it’s been!

From the bottom of our hearts,

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our very first U-Pick Experience here in the breathtaking Sierra Nevada mountains. We were absolutely blown away by the love for our apples, not just from our Central Valley neighbors but from friends who traveled from as far as Germany, France, Brazil, the Netherlands, China, Australia, Mexico, and beyond! Your enthusiasm caught us by surprise, and we’ll be honest - our inexperience led us to underestimate just how many of you share our passion for crisp, juicy apples. Because of your overwhelming support, our orchards are nearly picked clean!

We’re down to just a handful of Winter Banana apples and, of course, the highly anticipated Arkansas Black, which will be ready for purchase (no picking these beauties - just our farm crew) starting this Thursday at 11 a.m. A quick heads-up: we don’t have many Arkansas Blacks (~100lbs), and they’re a fan favorite, so if you’re dreaming of their tart, deep flavor, plan to visit before Sunday afternoon - we don’t expect them to last long!

While our apple season is winding down, there’s still so much to enjoy at the farm. We have about 25 1/2 gallon jugs of our delicious apple juice left in the retail store, and we’ll be sipping hot cider (& chocolate!) by the cozy heater until the first snow falls. Speaking of snow, it’s not here yet, so the fall mountain weather is still perfect for soaking in the stunning views, whether you’re a first-timer or a returning friend. P.S. We’re a little sad to see the apple season end so quickly, but meeting each and every one of you, hearing your stories, reconnecting with old friends, and making new ones over our shared love of quality apples has filled our hearts to the brim. Your smiles and stories have made this first U-Pick Experience one we’ll never forget.

And don’t worry - the fun isn’t over yet!

Our retail store will stay open, serving warm cider, hot coffee, and fresh handmade pastries (and pies!) until the snow arrives. Whether you’re cozied up inside or taking in the orchard views, we’d love to see you. Plus, we’re kicking off pie season this Saturday! We’ll start taking orders for our Thanksgiving Day Pies (click HERE for details), so don’t miss out on securing your holiday dessert. We’re also hosting Yoga in the Orchard (this Saturday!) and there are still plenty of opportunities to enjoy the crisp fall air and vibrant fall mountain scenery.

Even with our apple supply dwindling, there’s still warmth, community, and the magic of the season to share. We can’t wait to welcome you back, sip some cider together, and make more memories in this beautiful place we call home.
