Why You NEED This Centerpiece for Fall

Let’s be real - October, Halloween, and Thanksgiving call for a show-stopping centerpiece that ties your decor together. A succulent-topped Cinderella pumpkin is the perfect choice: it’s chic, low-maintenance, and lasts for months, transitioning seamlessly from spooky season to harvest feasts.

Unlike traditional carved pumpkins that rot in a week, this living decor piece combines the rustic charm of a pumpkin with the vibrant textures and colors of succulents. It’s versatile enough for your dining table, front porch, or even as a thoughtful gift for a host or loved one. Plus, when the season’s over, you can plant the succulents to enjoy them year-round!

What’s the Class Like? Pure Fall Fun!

This isn’t just a class - it’s a full-on fall experience! Picture yourself surrounded by fellow craft enthusiasts, sipping on seasonal drinks (warm apple cider, anyone?), and diving into a creative project that’s as relaxing as it is rewarding. Brynn will guide you through every step, sharing her expert tips on succulent care and arrangement design.

You’ll get hands-on, working with a large Cinderella pumpkin (those gorgeous, fairy-tale-worthy pumpkins with a flat top, perfect for this project), 8 vibrant succulents (think hens and chicks, sedums, and other colorful varieties), and all the materials you need - moss, glue, and decorative accents included.

Here’s how you’ll create the perfect succulent pumpkin centerpiece:

  1. Prep Your Pumpkin: Start with a clean, glossy Cinderella pumpkin—its unique shape and vibrant hue make it an ideal canvas. No carving needed, so your pumpkin stays fresh for months

  2. Layer the Moss: Using a hot glue gun, you’ll adhere a lush layer of preserved moss to the top of the pumpkin, creating a natural base for your succulents. Aim for a ½- to 1-inch-thick layer for that mounded, organic look.

  3. Arrange Your Succulents: Select from 8 gorgeous succulents, including taller varieties like hens and chicks for the center and smaller ones to trail over the edges. Brynn will show you how to group them tightly, slightly off-center, for a balanced yet dynamic design. Secure them with clear craft gel or hot glue for a seamless finish.

  4. Add Fall Flair: Sprinkle in dried florals, mini pinecones, or other seasonal accents to give your centerpiece that extra autumn sparkle. Brynn’s got all the supplies ready to make your creation pop!

  5. Care Tips: Brynn will share her secrets for keeping your centerpiece fresh—spritz the succulents lightly every few days and place it in indirect sunlight. When the pumpkin’s done, simply peel off the moss with the succulents and plant them in soil for a lasting keepsake.

The result? A stunning, mounded arrangement that’s equal parts rustic and modern, perfect for your Halloween party, Thanksgiving table, or cozy fall nights at home.
